My son's photos; Nikon D40 DSLR with 50 mm f1.4 "old school" Nikkor lens and a close-up attachment. Exposures all around 30 seconds.
From top to bottom, a cheap ValveArt 2A3, a moderately priced Sovtek 2A3, and a beautiful old RCA "Radiotron" (dual-plate) 2A3

... and the business end of a Decware SE-84B "Zen" amp taken with a fisheye Nikkor lens from Rentglass.

Audio ****.............Sweeeeeeet!~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

those are some sweet pictures.. not only because they are tubes showing off like a peacock.. they are just cool as hell in their colors and exposure.

BTW, nothing wrong with a nice blue glow in vacuum tubes (since I know that sometimes folks are troubled by blue-glowing tubes).

Very cool! Btw, thanks for reminding me to pick up a tripod today.

I'll pass folks' appreciation to our son when he gets home from ref'ing paintball later today.
I was pretty pleased with the photos; I think that he was too.
