I did contact the seller. He wants $1000...told him that's probably a tad high considering what Shadowofnight paid for his. Maybe he'll deal, but that's too rich for my blood.

    Are they 2.3's or 2.3TL's? Makes a difference in the price.

    the speakers in the ad are 2.3's,, not tl's,,,

    I paid 250 less then that for mine and they are immaculate.

    Hey Ron, I "Stole " a pair of original Carver Amazings with the ECS-U speaker control box ...after I am done playing/listening to them for a bit they are going to have to go...NO room for those monsters with my 1.2's and 2.3's here.
