I am now finished with my HT system and Need help setting up a decent 2 channel rig. I am running some lsi 9 and a adcom amp and was wondering if their is a good pre amp out there just for 2 channel music only, at a decent price.
My budget would be and couple hundred max.
Thanks

Any scatches or dents? Which one who sound better with my setup.

No dents maybe a few very small marks i would rate them
a 8 1/2 out of 10.
As far as sound on my setup a GFA-555 and RTi10s they both
sound great. The 500II has a phono input the 450 does not.

Both the Adcom's jerry has are nice sounding, are you using vinyl? do you want to get into vinyl? I've seen some very nice pre's on e-bay and audioGon in your $$ range, are there size or placement issues involved?
Color or looks important?

Absolutely no vinyl for me just radio,cd's and ipod -
Check audiogon.com - there are a few pre-amps available. The pricing for the adcoms listed in this thread are very fair with respect to price.[

Ok, there's a Denon PRA-1000 that might go very cheap on the bay, I'm new to polkaudio so I'm not sure of the rules about posting e-bay links and all the "for sales" rules, this pre is not mine or, anyone I know. It is a nice sounding full featured pre-amp and, has MM/MC phono inputs (helps at resale time, trust me
) It's in real nice shape, rosewood side panels, looks like you could hook up multiple digital sources into it, 2-channel, it might go for under $100, it's in Ft. Collins CO. I have several amp's and pre's that I play around with, none are for sale, I don't have a Denon like the PRA-1000 but, I've heard one in my system, the 'Logans are pretty reveiling of stuff upstream, I recomend putting it on your list, and the Adcoms are very nice choices w/FM to boot.
