Integra 9.8 & hdmi sound

Im doing something wrong with my 9.8 & Pany 30,I have a single hdmi cable for sound & pic ,Ive set the blu-ray player to bitsteam,the disc to dolby hd but the dolby hd doesnt light up on my 9.8.I tried with a dts hd disc & it does the same thing,the sq is great but neither dts hd ma or dolby hd lights up.Ive got dts neo & pllx2 on dolby,what have I set wrong?? The 9.8 says pcm.thanks

    My HT set-up Panasonic front proj, 120 in ws screen, ATI amp,Integra 9.8 pre-pro, 2 Polk rti150, cp 1000, 4 fx 1000, Pioneer blu-ray 2 SVS sub pb 12-ultra 2, & Paragon popcorn popper. ps 3 Coaster leather HT recliners.

    Good question? Seems like you are doing everything right, what happens when you set the Panny to PCM?

    thanks tried that,at the avs forum they gave me few ideas.
    My HT set-up Panasonic front proj, 120 in ws screen, ATI amp,Integra 9.8 pre-pro, 2 Polk rti150, cp 1000, 4 fx 1000, Pioneer blu-ray 2 SVS sub pb 12-ultra 2, & Paragon popcorn popper. ps 3 Coaster leather HT recliners.

    How about seeing if you can get bitstreaming to work or not over optical first? It does seem the 9.8 thinks it's dealing with PCM, so the problem might be on the panny side. I'd go through and see if there is any setting you need to adjust in the player to enable bitstreaming specifically for hdmi.

    I agree it seems like it has to be something on the player side if your Integra is receiving a PCM signal. In the player setup menu make sure you have all the output formats set to bitstream, you will have to do each one individually.

    Thanks,the guys at avs said I need to set the second bd video to off your sceen says on,also on the hdmi audio out set it to off
