Where can I get a good quality high voltage (450 v) electrolytic caps?
It looks like Blackgates are no longer an option, niether are
Elna cerifines.

    I'm upgrading a Melos SHA 1,I found some BG's at partsconnexion(standard though) and some panasonic caps at (stsi.com),,and the folks at Sonicap may still have some. Good luck with your search.

    +1. FWIW, Nelson Pass gives some Panasonic caps high marks and recommends them in some of his DIY stuff.

    And yes, Black Gates ceased production last year. Elna and Nichicon are also very good to excellent choices. Be aware that all brands have an "economy" line and a middle line and an upper line.
