Does anyone own the Outlaw av pre-amp 950? How does it sound? I have heard of some problems with this model. The price is nice. Thanks

    dholmes-

I have the 1050 AVR...I have had this unit for about a year and I love it. I added some M-200 to power the front and the center channels. I plan to buy a pre-amp sometime in the future, but I have no need for one as I find my 1050 does a great job. The 950 pre-amp has had a very rocky career. Kind of like a roller-coaster ride. But many people seem to like the (current) version of it. Many also like the older version. While I don't think this is the best pre-pro out there, I'm sure it does a great job for the price!
