LP Gear ATN3472SA stylus with Shibata diamond each exquisitely polished with precision and then carefully mounted on a metal alloy tubular cantilever for long playing life and exceptional tracing of record grooves thus resulting in a superbly detailed, full-bodied, and harmoniously complete sound quality.
While there are newer designs under different nomenclatures promising better performance, we believe based on our ears and many others we trust that our Shibata divines music with faithful accuracy and grace. The LP Gear ATN3472SA Shibata stylus offers an exquisite listening experience that keeps you wanting to play more LPs and records.
Made in Japan for LP Gear by a world-class manufacturer with a reputation for crafting musically excellent and high quality replacement styli.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Personally, I'd avoid these 'copies' and try to find an original. Didn't you already ask for cartridge opinions a few months ago?

Same recommendations today as back then. If you really want an A-T cartridge, I'd get one with an original AT stylus from Ed Saunders

Halfway down the page is the ESCAT301, which appears to a P-mount that comes with a genuine AT shibata stylus. -
good idea... there are less and less P mounts available all the time. at some point they'll be gone.. and we'll only be left with copies. that's the downside of P mounts.
I did indeed purchase a AT series V cart from a friend.. but I want to explore other needles that will fit or other carts. but they have to be reasonable in price too.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

That's one reason why I like the Ortofons and the Shure. The Ortofons use the same stylus as their current line and will likely be available for a long time. The Shure have a good deal of inter-compatibility with their styli too.
