I was considering buying a pair to test them out compared to my RTI8s. They have a 45 day return policy. I was just wondering if anyone has heard them or anything about them besides what svs says on there site. The MBS-01 is $999 and the MTS-01 are $1499. Its definately a step up in price over the Rti8s but I was just wondering how much of a difference it makes in sound quality.
Living Room setup: Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH, Krell KAV 300i, PS Audio DL III DAC, Tyler Acoustics Taylo 7u, Dynaudio Audience 120C+, SVS 25/31PCI, B-P-T Clean Power Center, Ps3, Panny 50" S1 Plasma, Tekline speaker cables, Audio Art interconnects, and Pangea power cables.

bo, you should ping Ed Mullen. Yes, he's with them, but he will give you an honest opinion of where they stack up.

They appear to have some good quality drivers and components...and they look nice to boot.

I almost pulled the trigger on a pair and then found some Monitor Audio bookselves.

And how do you like your monitor audio bookshelves compared to polk?
I've owned Polk monitor 40s, Rti6 and Rti8. Im looking to upgrade.

I like them...a lot...I picked up a pair of GR10's...they are in an different league than the RTi Series...But,they retail for around $1500. a pair.

I would say along the lines of the LSi series.

    Picked mine up from http://www.saturdayaudio.com/

    Look in the "Deals" page

What I dont like about the RTI series is they distort with heavy guitar in rock music.
I want something with no distortion as the SVS MTS-01 claim they have.
What kind of application do you use your GR-10s in? Music/movies?

Right now I have a Parasound HCA-1500A driving them in my 2-channel rig.

They may or may not be your choice of speakers,I have never driven them hard to be able to speak about any distortion.

I use our SDA's to listen to music with a little punch in it...no distortion there for sure.
