rt 600 vs. 1000???

what is the differnce between rt600 and a seperate powered sub compared to rt 1000??Need help fast!!!

    with a built-in subwoofer, the rt1000i will generally have a smoother midrange/bass response.

    this is not to say that the 1000 is better in anyway. it is always best to let your ears decide... good luck!

    Hi Devin,

    The 1000's will provide a much fuller sound musically. But a separate sub. (depending on which sub you're talking about) will provide that big deep bass, the kind explosions make when watching movies. But of course you need a 5.1 receiver to really get the full effect.

    I have the 1000's with the PSW 650 sub and they sound great together. The 1000's alone are fine for music, but for movies, they just don't have the explosion capabilities that a separate sub would have.
