On the Review of the SR104 Sub (Review noted in the SR104 listing on POLK site) he says Polk recomends a sub enclosure of .88 and during his test he finds that a .80 box is better. Is this size before sub is installed or after and if it is after does that mean before would be aprox. Polk 1.0 and the reviewer .88? Please explain because I want to find a proper box but not sure if what is listed is before or after the woofer installed in box.

I found a box built to a .80 and was wondering if it would work. If his test is before sub installed then this should be perfect since he said he used a .80 box.

Thanks

.88 is total box volume before the sub is installed.
