Onkyo 805 upconversion question

I have a question for Onkyo 805 users. Does it upconvert only analog sources? If I connect my Fios cable box using HDMI, will the Onkyo do anything for the SD signal from my non-HD channels?

I know these forums are primarily about audio, but I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. Thanks

    The 805 will not modify a digital video signal in any way, doesn't matter if its 480i/p, 720p, 1080i/p. It passes it on untouched. For analog sources, it will deinterlace 480i and optionally upconvert and pass up to 720p. Unfortunately it downconverts 1080i to 720p when going to digital. I think it will pass 1080i if you use component outs. There is a diagram in the owner's manual that explains the video handling in detail.
