Anyone? Good/bad? Thoughts?

Several reviews say it was very underated and is quite scary/creepy, yet not gory. My type of horror movie.

    Is this the one about the haunted submarine, or something like that? I think it's directed by the guy who directed the movie whose title was the symbol Pi. I was totally lost & gave up on that one, but maybe I'll give this one a shot. I don't think it got much circulation, I don't even remember it being at theatres.

    Ron - have you seen The Ring yet? You want scary without gore - The Ring is it. 73% positive = solidly Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

    I have not seen Below. 61% positive = barely Fresh. Much better rated than Ghost Ship (11% positive = Rotten).

    I'll be checking Below out on DVD for sure. When is it due for release?

    Tomorrow, but it looks to be $22.99. No one is showing better prices yet. If so, I'll pass on a blind purchase and give it a rent first.

    Tried to find The Ring but all the rental shops were out. Maybe this week.

    You're right Ron - $22.99 at Best Buy. No discount for opening week. I passed despite more than a passing intrigue level. The clerk offered me $2 off - WOW. I still passed. I'll look for a rental first.

    I saw it in the movies and all I can say is:

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MOVIE!!!

    IT IS NOT WORTH A RENTAL, LET ALONE PURCHASING!!!

    LOL. I was scrolling down, and I saw the trailer and thought...."jeesh...this looks pretty good....wonder why I never heard about it." I think the BOLD PRINT really got to me. Maybe I'll wait till its on TNT every night for a week...hehe.

    When you guys are saying "$22.99" is that for the movie "Below" or "The Ring?" I saw "The Ring" twice and was terrified both times. I heard they plan on making a sequel too. Damn....ain't Naomi Watts hot?

    Given a choice between watching it for a week and buying it, then I'd recommend buying it...:D

    He's referring to Below - thanks Tour2 - I'll keep my money on this one and MAYBE rent it.

    Agree - The Ring was a fabulous scare - plot inconsistencies aside - I loved it. Best scary movie since..........I can't remember.
