Hum from the PSW 350

I have the PSW 350 and the RM-6600 with the front speakers running through the Sub. I get a steady hum from the 350 whenever the volume on the sub is turned up much at all. It is not too noticble if you have it cranked but anything less you hear the hum. Is this normal and if not what could be done about it? The reciever is a Techniques DX1050. The noise is most noticible when the sub is in stand by or no sound being pushed through.

    me and my friend have the same setup here at our dorm and we also run everything through the sub. we've had it since the first part of the semester (august) and have yet to produce any complaints. we keep the sub turned up between 11:00 and 1:00 and it sounds wonderful.

    is this hum coming from any particular source? what kind of receiver are you using? any extra information you can provide will help the awesome guys from polk answer your questions.
