ups's and DLPs

i just had a blackout at my abode, and was obviously concerned about my dlp tv's light bulb blowing out. i am now seriously considering buying a ups for the tv, though am not willing to spend more than 150 USD for it, nor do i know the tech specs of what it must be to up to standards with the tv. it would be only for the tv itself. all i need is 5min backup time, just to shut off the tv properly...anyone have any reccomendations on what i should pick up?

If it's just for the TV, and to run the fans after shutdown, just about anything will do. I find APC units to be very reliable.

Why not enjoy the benefits of putting all of your gear on a dedicated power conditioner. You should be able to go with a Monster 3500 MKII, Panamax with your budget, then plug the Power conditioner into the UPS.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Yes you do have a power conditioner, sorry I didnt see that, the eyes were tired. Im out in Sasebo Japan and its extremely cold here, plus I've been training personnel all day. Another vote for APC brand.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
