I'm fairly new to decent home audio and have a fairly simple question. My room is approximately 25 feet long and 12 feet wide. I use approximately 16 feet of the room for my home entertainment area. On the back wall I have a 108" projector screen. The speakers I recently purchased were 4xRM30 my center is an RM302 and my sub is a PSW10.

I am going to wall mount the surround and center channels, the center above the projector screen, the surround fronts on either side of the screen and the rears about 17 feet back from the screen.

My question is, should I mount the front surrounds facing straight back at me or facing toward each other? A secondary question would be whether anyone would recommend a particular spot for the sub? Right now I have it between the main chairs we play/watch from facing straight toward the screen.

The room is a suspended ceiling with vinyl flooring and old style panel wood walls if that makes any difference.

Thank you in advance for any advice.
