Every time we play, I'm watching Bill racking up like 80 kills in a match when the rest of the field is like 20. Meanwhile, I'm lucky if my spray and pray technique (the only thing that works in run and gun for me) gets me 10.

I really don't like Call of Duty in multiplayer mostly becaue I suck at it. I have no idea why that is since I am usually pretty good with shooters. For example, I've always been really good at the UT series, G.R.A.W./Rainbow 6, as well as Lost Planet. I think it's the pacing. I thrive in fast pace environments. If it's slowed down like Gears of War or Call of Duty I suck.

maybe it's just that i live vicariously through this game. i never did join the military like i had intended to back in the day. the thing that helps me most is not only being a great sniper from afar, but using the rifle at close range. one shot kills that way. also, i tend to play the game and find cover and sniping locations that i think i would in real life. the game's pretty accurate.

I don't know, I'm pretty huge into marksmanship activities in my real life free time, and while I agree it looks realistic, it's not quite realistic to pick a guy off at a hundred yards running and jumping with a rifle wearing a hot pink leotard, let alone when he's in camoflage, if you know what I mean. :p

If you like this, you REALLY need to get your hands on G.R.A.W. or Rainbow Six. Those games actually use real life tactical procedure in their game. While even that isn't realistic, there's something awesome about surgically executing a gameplan with one of your friends.

Avelanchefan and I have had a blast playing those games on-line.

well, the camoflaged hiding sniper's position can be located by way of muzzle flash. that's pretty cool. it's just the game as a whole that i love. i can snipe from far, or jump into the crazy mix and shoot point blank.

again, didn't care for rainbow six campaign. never tried live as i had barely gotten my 360. maybe i'll check into graw 2 or whatever.

but enough whoring up this thread...

I feel like I'm being sent back in time a year ago with the games you mentioned. Have any games from the past 12 months? ;)

HAHA, yea i guess those are older games. I've got GOW and NHL 07 also. So any of those would be included in what I play.
