If you fortunate enough to have at a Circuit City near you with these in stock - They have a pretty good deal going. I ordered online, and only one store within 30 minutes of me had one. CC is not shipping and it has to be available for pickup

Includes 3 HD DVD picked out of the store stock - No restrictions!!!!!

Toshiba 5 dvd selection - pretty crappy choices, but any 3 out of the store is awesome and you can throw in these 5.

BTW if you are in S. Jersey, Vineland store is where I got mine

Just a little info for those who missed the 98 dollar wally sale. 3 dvds makes up for it. the movie 300 alone almost makes up for it :)

    For $199 Best Buy also has the A3 which comes with Bourne Identity and 300 in the box, plus three more HD dvd's off the shelves plus the 5 from the mail in rebate. 10 discs total. Not a bad deal. Has me thinking of returning the A2.

    Yeah, i was tossing that one back and forth. If I had a 1080P tv, i would have definately made the move on the a3.

    Figured, when i get a 1080P capable tv, which wont be for another year maybe, it would be under 100 bucks or a new generation would be available. I would get a new dvdplayer and move this then old one to the bedroom along with the old 1080i TV :)

    I fought back and forth over which one to get for a couple of hours before deciding which was the most rational for me today. May change my mind tomorrow, but it would be too late lol

    Has anyone in Canada found any deals like this? These prices are insane and especially if you take into consideration what the Canadian dollar is worth nowadays.

    No need. The A3 is still only 720p/1080i. The reason I was thinking of switching is because it will output 7.1 bitstream over HDMI, so my new PR-SC885P could decode the HD audio.
