Breaking In New Receiver

After three weeks of not being able to make my mind up,i went with the denon 1803,the onkyo 600 was very nice too.HOPE I MADE THE RIGHT MOVE.OK now how do i break in this receiver,should i put it at max volume and let it go for 10 days,LOL.JUST JOKING. just want to do this right.i sent denon an email on this matter,but i really want your input. thank you

    Recievers of this calibur - no such thing as break in time. It is ready to be used out of the box. Calibrate and run with it.

    My opinion...

    Modern solid state electronics don't NEED to be broken-in.
    But since this hobby is 99% SUBjective and 1% OBjective: If it
    makes you feel any better to break it in, then by all means, DO IT.
    In which case, there will be countless others here that will help
    you break in your new, sexy amp with all sorts of voodoo-sounding
    methods to ensure you don't "bruise" your new transistors,
    capacitors and resistors within the first 2,500 hours of use.

    i have had my avr-1803 for about 5 months now and am very satisfied with it. I got it for 350 on the internet and it has plenty of power and options for my ht. good choice
