Is a set of vintage speakers a specific age or is it just the rule of thumb? I believe in automobile becomes a vintage after 20 years.

Thanks for any help or input :).

Who knows... I had a pair of Monitor 10's, which pretty much everyone considers vintage, but they were a last run made in 1991...

it is a loose term thrown around with no real timeframe
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

This must be a trick question! I might say vintage applies to anything that is no longer produced...as in, discontinued models...but then, last year's line of anything might be vintage...so scrap that notion. Seems pretty much of a general concept to me that can mean whatever we will agree that it means....to me 5 yrs is not vintage, 10.....nah...15...getting closer....20 or more....sure....and then antique...

Very subtle. I think I'll sign up to Ebay with a couple of fake user names and run the bidding up to astronomical levels, then disappear. Similar to what you're trying to do here.
