Jagger v. Bowie: Who's the man?

In their prime, who's cooler: Mick Jagger or David Bowie? Not who made cooler music (although that's gotta influence your vote)...just who's cooler?

I vote Mick. Pretty easy question, now that I think about it. I guess Bowie's the only guy I can think of that's in that same league...but Mick for sure.

Depends on who wanted to wear a skirt in the relationship ?

Seriously, didn't they both get it on with each other back in the day ?

If so, I guess "they we're dancing in the sheets !" together ! Eh?

Touche...I can see how this question could be a bit loaded.

But lifestyle choices aside, the question stands.

I would have to go w/Mick-more hits. The better question is which wife? I would probably lean towards Imam.

Charlie Watts would have knocked them both the f*ck out and then eaten a 72 oz steak without using his hands.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Check that... he's already floored Mick. I hear he's hunting down Bowie as we speak.

"I'm not your drummer. You're my singer" WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Interesting question. I think Mick is the more quintessential lead singer with amazing staying power. Not many leads can still perform at that same level after so many years. Will be hard to repeat his legacy. Bowie frankly I think may be the "more versitile, trend setting, and innovative" talent. Always willing to test the waters for a new style and approach. Not sure there is a clear winner for cool factor but I might lean toward Mick. Bowie was more hip in a CBGB kinda way and probably has more shear "talent".

    Cool?

When I think cool...I think Steve McQueen. I think Sinatra. Guys who would look at either one and classify them as ugly, wannabe broads and then tell them to go get them double bourbon, neat, and be quick about it.

    Entertaining? Bowie.

I've seen both a few times and IMHO Bowie incorporates a better stage presence.

That's my favorite Charlie Watts story. Mick's a c*nt, always has been, always will be. He never argued with the notoriety heaped on him for his supposed lifestyle. Brian Jones and Keith lived the life, not him, and it shows. A little more pronounced in Brian's case.

Bowie is far cooler. Not a big fan here, but way cooler than Mick.
