So I somehow ran into THIS THREAD and had to shake my head a bit at myself considering I now have 2 sets of Sr6500's and about to be putting 2 SR124DVC subs in the same car I said I wasn't going to consider putting anything in.....

On behalf of "Brett 2005" I apologize for my comments and attitude.........somehow the people I offended most either totally forgot about "Brett 2005" or forgave me enough and have been extremely helpful with the whole car system that's been installed....

I'm sad that it took me well over a year to get them installed, but not a day goes by that I don't love having them in my car and even for the short 4-5 minute trip to the convenience store, I have to be playing music because time in the car without the system is a bore....

So.....I was wrong.....the SR6500's (LSi for the car) **** rock......

As for any other "Year of the Brett" don't expect another apology like this........ :D

    The 6500's have a punch and sound to them that is better than what the home LSi's do in my experience. That's not to say the LSi's are bad speakers, but they don't have much in the way of punch to them, not in a 'mind numbing bass' type of punch, but there's nothing worse than a bass note/beat that hits flat.....

    EDIT: Cody, to answer your question, you should know that I'm the exception to the rule......... :D
