I have a bunch of stuff that needs to get out of my house, as all its doing is sleeping all day and keeping me up at night.

I'm being brief at the moment as some of it is still in the basement storage area but will get more pictures and information posted, as needed, later.

Contact me directly with questions or comments, dorokusai@comcast.net

Marantz SA-8260 SACD Player - 9/10 - Black - *SOLD* on Audiogon

Excellent SACD model for those not wanting to make a huge investment, yet still get a high quality startup in this genre. This was the player used in the MD Polkfest All-Tube room and it didn't fail to impress but then again, everything in that room sounded top notch. This is a REAL nice CDP.

Stereophile Class A Component 2006

SACD- Stereo/Multi-ch Playback
Original SACD Drive Mechanism
Current Feedback HDAM® Circuits for All Channel
Zero-Impedance Copper Plate for Multi-ch terminals
Selected Audiophile Grade Components
Gold Plated terminals

Includes: Original everything.

Polk Audio SDA 1C Loudspeaker - 6-7/10 - Oak - *SOLD* to Lightman1

Classic SDA series which is talked about enough on this forum, that you probably know exactly what this model looks like. This should be the benchmark for SDA's as it can do everything just as well as a couple larger siblings, but in a smaller package.

These are in pretty good shape, not perfect. I have to go on memory for the moment as they are wrapped and in the very back of my storage space, so bear with me. I believe they have a little veneer seperation on the bottom of one speaker, one side and a couple scratches elsewhere on the other. I going soft in the rating as I can't hold them, caress them and make sweet love to them right now. They should be viewed as being 7/10 via AG.

100% functional with a new, mid-bass driver installed a few months ago.

Thanks for reading, Round 2 on the way..................

The ASL's are solid with MillerLiteScott, thanks much.

He's gonna drop an ear on the SDA 1C, in-house, before making a decision on them. That's fine and local is the name of the game when it comes to these speakers.

I met Scott today when he picked up the ASL monoblocks, great guy to chat with and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I softened him up with my mint Monitor 5's and have the feeling some other stuff may have left the building today :)

Anyways, he's a proud new Polk father....enjoy the gear Scott and drop some pictures by the forum when you get some time.

I will take some pictures, but I have to tell my wife first.

Mark is a great guy and a pleasure to deal with and he has a room full of goodies.

Both the mono blocks and the Monitor 5's are minty 4 sure. I cant wait to listen to them. This will be my introduction to tubes and a budget 2 channel. I need to score a pre for my new toys and I will let you know how they sound. My father has a Gerrard TT that he said he would have fixed up and I will scrounge up a budget digital source.
