From my personal collection:

Sunfire Classic Tube preamp. One of the best looking/sounding preamps you will find. I've LOVED every minute of it. The cool factor on this pre is off the charts.

Why am I selling it? Well, simple, I'm trying to simplify the LR rig. I've made a deal for a high tone integrated amp that's fully remote control operated.

Here is the **** from the sunfire website:
Features and Specs
One Hz - 80 kHz frequency response
6 L/R pairs of unbalanced inputs
2 pairs of unbalanced main outputs
1 pair of balanced outputs
1 pair of tape outputs
High and low frequency contour controls with bypass
Stereo/mono switch
Tape monitor loop
Motorized volume control with continuous-taper potentiometer and Volume Up Disable during mute or warm-up
Infrasonic filter on optional Phono Stage only
Eight volts output
3 unswitched AC outlets
Gold-plated inputs and outputs
Five-year parts and labor warranty

This one is probably the cleanest you will find on the planet. Before it was sent to me, the guts were completely replaced at Sunfire (pretty sure I still have the receipt) and still has some time remaining on the factory warranty. Also, this does NOT have the factory phono card.

I have the original box, manual, remote.....I have JAN 6922 tubes installed with VERY low mileage and I'll also ship w the original (Sovtek) tubes as well.

If you have questions ask, if you need pics, I'll take some.

My price to you: 975 shipped, lower 48.

Whoever buys this should request a picture of it with nothing behind it but a naked TroyD.....I know I would.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

This is a shot of it from the 'Fest. The fingerprint looking things are from us idiots that couldn't keep their paws off it. The thing is pristine! See the window with the glowing tubies? Nice! Wish I could grab it...

Hope this helps ya BDT. I had this shot in my Polk Fest photos.
    No excuses!

How does it compare to parasound halo p3?
Is the phono option still available from sunfire?

I've not heard the parasound so I don't know. Personally, I think the Sunfire is a terrific pre....one of the best sounding that I've heard.

The phono stage was available last I knew. You might want to give Sunfire a jingle and inquire.....or I can, either way.
