Don't know much about the older Polk speakers. Are these worth $80? Thinking of putting a two chanel rig in the bedroom so if these are any good I'll grab them.

    Yes, they are very nice speakers. A bit older than the 5B, of which I have a pair that I wouldn't part with. They appear to have the same tweeters that the 5B is famous for, but I'm no expert. No way I'd part with mine for $80.

    Very nice for a small rig. The Peerless tweeters make them a nice find. Go offer him $50, you should be able to deal a little. By all means get them.
