Why can't they make DVD players with all the formats? I look at fifteen
dvd players at Circuit City and none of them at DVD-a or SACD. I finally found a Panasonic with DVD-Audio. Also why dont they organize the store better. Have one section for DVD-A, one for SACD, one for regular DVD's,
one for Blu-ray and one for HD-DVD. Just a thought.
Everything I own burned in the fire!!!!!!!!!!

hee hee hee.. well. DVD-audio may be on the way out.. i think manufactures aren't even building players with SACD and DVD-Audio together in a multi format player anymore..

instead are looking toward Blu Ray and HD-DVD as the next big wave consumers will be dropping tons of money on this holiday season.

Raise your hands if you would rather have a DVD player which plays SACD and DVD-Audio for this holiday or a HD-DVD or Blu Ray player? there you go.

I don't know about on its way out, but hte big box stores have never really stocked SACD / DVD-A players. They're viewed (mostly correctly) as a niche market for audiophiles and the like, and therefore you should buy a seperate player for those kinds of media. The occasional universal will pop up now and again, but they're just not all that common and probably won't be.

Stop shopping at Circuit City and scour teh web, you'll find better deals anyway.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
