This Onkyo TX-SR502 is an entry level 6.1 reciever in very good condition. I'm the original owner and have the original box, manual, remote, and am/fm antennas. It pumps out 75 watts per channel and has Dolby Digital, Pro Logic IIx and DTS. Check this link for all the specs: http://www.onkyousa.com/model.cfm?m=TX-SR502&p=s&class=Receiver
It has a small 1 inch scratch on the back corner (see photo). It doesn't have any other marks or scratches. The face is perfect and it sounds awesome. Price is $150 + shipping **** SOLD ********

These Monitor 70's are the Mac daddys of the Monitor series. They deliver a full presence and fill the room nicely. They have a great bass response and go down to 30 Hz! I'm the original owner and they are in very good condition. One of the speaker grill pegs broke off, but you can't tell when the grills are on and it doesn't affect their performance. Price is $425 pair. Since I don't have any boxes **Local pick-up only** I'd be willing to drive part way.

Just my $.02, but I think your prices are a bit high.

A friend of mine bought an open box 502 at CC for $99 a few months ago and the 70's are going for $500 (edit) new.

    Good luck with your sale.

EDIT: My fault, I found the 70's for $500/pair new, not $300/pair.

Hate to gum up this thread anymore, but where are you finding the 70 for $300 new?

I havent really seen them selling for less that $350 for EACH speaker. Even if it was $300 for each, thats $600.

Good luck with the sale Ern.

After doing more research, I agree, my prices are a bit high.

New Monitor 70's are going for $680 pair right now at Circuit city, so I'm dropping my price on these to $400 pair, still local p/u only.

The Onkyo I'm dropping to $100 + shipping!

If someone wants both then I'll take $25 off the total.

I have a TX-SR502S (means it's silver, not black) and it does a bang-up job of being a home theater receiver. The only thing that makes it entry level is that it doesn't have quite as many features or hook-up options as models a little farther up the line. Otherwise, the 75 watts per channel will do well for most people's setups and it would dbe a GREAT unit to power a SurroundBar!

At $90 bucks, it's a steal. When they were new on the market, Onkyo had an MSRP of about $450 on it and I regularly saw it for $300-$400 depending on the store or website.

Anyhow, for $90 this thing performs like a champ and is worth every penny! It has plenty of options for a starter system or if you are just looking for something fairly inexpensive for an apartment, bedroom or dormroom. Somebody should jump on this.

BTW, my Onkyo is powering KLH 17's for mains, KLH 22's for surrounds and EPI 100V's for center channels. I have a Polk Audio C4 subwoofer being powered by a stereo amp at about 70 watts per channel.

Is the AVR still available? My Dad is looking for a new receiver and this sounds like it might work for him. If he decides he wants it, it would be shipped to New Braunfels, TX.

    Thanks,

    Josh

Why local only? Because I don't have boxes, they're heavy & bulky. In order to ship these safely, I'd have to take them to a professional shipping co. to pack them and have them insured. It is definitely manageable, but it would make a really good deal of $350 turn into $450-$500 (I'm guessing). If you are serious about wanting them, then I'd put effort into checking prices for the packing/shipping/insurance.
