Tubedepot and others are out of stock. I did manage to pick up a pair of 12Au7 Ei Elite Gold Pins. I would trade one for the 6DJ8 or buy one outright.

Word over on Audioasylum a few days ago is that the Ei tube production is now shut down, so whatever is on the market now is all that will be available unless the company resumes production.

Carl, don't know you are still looking for the Ei gold pin. I wanted to order some parts from http://www.tubesandmore.com and found the Elite gold pin 6dj8 for $11.95 a pop. Also, www.tubedepot.com has the tube in stock for 14.95 now.

Both pictures from AES and tubedepot are kind of stock, they look like the one on the left - A-frame style.

From what I have read in the forum, gold pin or not are the same. If so, the non gold pin from AES is a pretty good deal - 7.95 a pop.
