    That midbass hump is the bane of most speakers on the market...
    aa exceptional speaker will have an equal response in that frequency,
    but this is more rare than one would think.
    I wonder what the benefit would be to doubling the watts from lets say 100 to 200?

    i'd like to see an in depth review and comparison of the Monitor30 vs. Rti4 vs. Lsi7.

    That would be the best a/b/c comparo between the polk lines, as each have a 1" tweeter and 1 5.25" driver.

    (edit)- i've listened to all 3 lines with the same 2channel cd, but not with identical gear. I'd really like to see the comparison done on tube equipment, as I've heard the rti's sound very good with music when powered by lower wattage tube gear, and the lsi's (in this case the 6ohm 7's and 4ohm lsi9's) sound phenomenal.

    Well I got a Rotel 2-channel amp this weekend. After I get some alone time to test it out, I'll post my feedback.
