I've decided to do the Christmas Karma again this year. I try and find a really cool, MINT piece of VINTAGE gear in my travels throughout the year. I found a sweet Fisher SA-500 last year and it was karma'd to Peersool(Halo). I think the thread has disappeared but anyways....

I was lucky enough to find this back in May and have been saving it for this year. This is the original thread.

A Pioneer SX-450 Receiver, MINT with original box, packaging, manual and schematics. A whopping 15wpc@8 but it's just neat and who could pass this up. Sneak peek over, see you in December.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I love those heavy **** tuner knobs. Just spin 'em and watch it roll across the dial.... Reminds me of my parents old Packard Bell 8 track....Yep. They finally upgraded to the Bose Megasystem a few years ago.....And, they painted the wood paneling behind the system a nice glossy white. Hipsters.;)

    OMG, did we party a bit with one of those in high school and college! Greg, my buddy to this day, still has it! That, and those godawful Pioneer HPM-somthings... Thanks for the great memories.
