Just saw these guys listed and am tempted, but have no idea as to either line. I'm lazy and looking for some simple advice...which is the better speaker...price doesn't matter.

    Personally I'd choose the LS90's over the RT's, but that's just me. Is the intended use more for music or movies? The LS90 is an impressive speaker, and wouldn't be out of place in a serious two-channel rig. Wish I had a pair of 'em.

    I've never been a real fan of speakers with internal, powered subwoofers.

    That's just my opinion. If you're intrests lie more with home theater, then the field is somewhat leveled.

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I damn near shat myself when I saw the Sunnyvale listing for the LS90. I was about to send an email offering him more than his asking price...

    Then I noticed it was Sunnyvale San Fran, not Sunnyvale Dallas Tx.

    You should snag up those LS90

    LS90. there a great speaker system. I owned them for a while and was very impressed.

    they just seemed able to take whatever your system could dish out. They never distorted for me, no matter what volume I played them at. just a sence of being bulletproof for lack of a better phrase.

    as long as your not dumb enough to make your amp itself clip, these speakers wont let you down.

    I sold mine to upgrade to all LSi in my theater. I dont regret my decision, but thats not to say I dont miss the LS90.

    Talked to the guy today...am going over there tomorrow. He's selling the LS90s because he's running 11 & 8Ts in one system and SDAs in another...surprised he's not a member here;) Maybe he soon will be

    If they're in good shape, your getting a lot of speaker for $350.

    They need some power to really open up, but will reward you with a big/dynamic sound, nice detail without being bright, and solid imaging/soundstage.

    Mine will always have a place somewhere in my home.

    Bought a Mits 1080P DLP last night (have been looking for awhile and couldn't pass up the deal), so I had to pass on these speaks. They are open to anyone else in the area. Nice guy...give him a call.

    I agree. Polk did a great job on the aesthetics for these speakers. In addition to the high WAF, the speakers sound great. I ran these for 5 years before breaking down and buying a sub. Even then, don't even hesitate to run these on large setting.
