Do I need an air hole for my sub box? Pioneer 12" 400 Watt, box dimensons: 9 inches tall, 14 wide, and 15 long.

    If you are asking about a "port", a little research for your sub would be in order, to see if it's suited to a ported enclosure.

    Pioneer likely has two possible enclosures recommended for your sub. One would be sealed (and small), the other would be ported (and probably larger).

    It's pretty hard to tell you if you need an "airhole" in your box with just the info you provided.

    You really need the exact model number of your Pioneer sub, and then you should look at Pioneer's website for box options.

    Some woofers are designed to be used either ported, sealed, and some are OK for both- it really depends on which one you own.
