I am selling my 3.2megapixel Canon A510. I recently got a new camera, so this one is no longer needed.

This camera can be set to full auto (point-and-shoot) or full manual, which gives the photographer complete control over the camera’s shutter speed, aperture, etc. (Having control over camera settings is a great learning tool). It has a 4x optical zoom lens (35-140mm) and also has auto settings for different shooting conditions (portrait, landscape, snow, beach, fireworks, etc.).

Here is the link to Canon's website:
http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=145&modelid=11086

The only issue with this camera is that sometimes a "hot" pixel (looks like a red star in the sky) will show up during longer exposures. The pixel is more noticeable in darker shots (i.e. evening sky) but even then, it is hard to notice. It is intermittent and when it does appear, it can easily be fixed in Photoshop.

Other than the occasional hot pixel, the camera works perfectly and is very clean. The pic quality is very good for a 3.2 mp as the reviews below agree, but the camera can get a little sluggish when taking flash pictures (the reviews below comment on this also).

Overall, this camera would be perfect for a newbie looking to learn photography or for someone looking to post pics of gear.

Here is a link to my webpage of pics taken with this camera:
http://mike7389.fotopic.net/

Camera comes with the following:
1) Original box, software, and manuals.
4) Original wrist strap, AV cord (minijack to two RCAs), and USB cord.

I am throwing in the following:
1) 4 energizer AA 2200mah rechargeable batts. This camera takes two AA batts at a time, so the other two can be used as a backup.
2) A sandisk 256mb SD card.

Here are some links to professional reviews:

I am asking $85.00 shipped insured to lower 48.

You didn't show the back-side of the batteries. Therefore, I'm not interested! I bet they're just cardboard props! ;)

I have the Canon Powershot A80. They look very similar and, I think, work the same. I'm very pleased with the menu layout and ease of use the Canon offers. I can't complain about the pictures it produces, either, but then I'm not very critical so long as I got the scene I wanted. A 4x zoom is pretty good on a consumer level digital camera of this size.

    Good luck with the sale!

How can this be MORE clear? HOW, please tell me?

I just saw the price for the first time. That's a steal! A giveaway of a price! Wow!

jtgranby - I'm pretty sure Justin can take care of that kind of stuff sufficiently on his own.
