hey, what gauge should i use for my rti6s and where is a good place that i could find nice speaker wire?

    12 would be more than enough, 14 is plenty. I would say at least 16, unless your going over 20 or so feet, then stick with 14 and bigger

    I started with some RCA "Digital" speaker wire that was 14 gauge and was $35 for 100 feet. I bought it at Home Depot. The stuff sounded great, and was really cheap too. If you go to a place like that, you can buy good stuff for a good price in bulk, as long as you aren't looking for $100 a foot speaker wire.

    Depends on your budget. I got my speaker cables from Cobalt Cables and I am very happy with them for the money.

    True, about the $$ I did use HD cable till I bought some Kimber and have been quite happy with the kimbers.

    I'd say Audioquest for the Win, humm.. any of there speaker cables that have DBS in them will do great

    If you want to "swim into the fray" a bit, try Audioquest Type 4, Kimber 4TC, or Analysis Plus oval 12. All are a relatively cheap way to hear some better speaker cables.
