I am having a heavy amp shipped to me from IN to MD. Would it be safer to get it UPS or USPS??? USPS is a few more $$ but that is not a problem. Any advice?

USPS Priority is hand moved. Parcel post and first class is put in dumpers and moved and then dumped for sorting, so allways ship priority with USPS if it is fragile. I have had more prob's out of UPS than USPS.....

    It's a hellava gamble either way.....

    Go pick it up.

It's a crap shoot either way. I hope it arrives intact and functional....

I'm just about done buying anything of REAL value, or size and having a 'yahoo' ship it to me....

So, I have a vote for both sides. The seller gave me a choice of either priority or ups which is why I am wondering.

Picking it up would be 12 hours each way and $200 in expense. I would consider it if I were having 1.2TL's or something like that shipped.

Given the service UPS has given me in past few days I would lean to USPS.
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

UPS beats the HELL out of stuff. If it's an option, go FedEx 3rd day. Typically cheaper, quicker, and I've had less problems ever from them.

    Max,

I agree with Brett, use FedEx. BTW, where are you in MD?
