*****SOLD*****

I bought a 3500 MKII directly from monster to use in two channel setup, but that plan has changed.

I now have a brand new in the box 3500 MKII that I don't need.

I would like $350 CAD for it. It retails for $700 CAD at the local futureshop in London Ontario. Buyer would pay all shipping costs. Please PM me if you are interested, or if you have a counter offer. Thanks,

Julian

P.S. Here is a link to the Monster site with a description:

Isn't this the one that they were selling on OneCall and Amazon for $169 plus a $50 rebate. I paid $135 for mine with shipping after rebate.

Really? I didn't know that they were going that cheap. Well I look foolish. I still have no use for it and would be interested in offers.

JCM, I'm in Quebec and I ordered that deal from The Twister Group....It came in at $277 Canadian shipped to my door. I already have two of them for my main system. I suppose I can use another for the upstairs system...although not really necessary. I'll offer $200 for it, but it would have to include shipping. Sorry for the low offer, I hope someone buys it for more. (You sure about that $700 price from Future Shop?) Must be a different model.

Thanks to everyone who replied. Bad luck for me I guess. Is there anyone in Canada that would want it? I have no use for it, and I can drop it off anywhere from London Ontario to Ottawa, as I will be making a trip up to Ottawa soon.

That OneCall link just goes to show how much profit Monster NORMALLY makes on their ****... because you can be guaranteed that even at that price, they're not losing money...
    Ludicrous gibs!

Is this unit designed for just protecting your equipment IE: line conditioner, or does it do more - IE: make a perfect sine wave ?
Is it also supposed to surpress the 60Hz electrical hum ? And does such models that do that really make a difference in the audio quality ? I use $60 Tripp Lite Isobar multi-outlet surge supressors on my equipment which has $50,000 protection warranty. Any thoughts ? Please let me know.

    Thanks much !!!
