I have been eyeing this car for a few months now and thought I would share it with everyone here. If things go well with my new business I think I'm going to have to treat myself to one. It just looks like way too much fun!!!!:eek:

    The big question is whether this thing would be street legal in the US. No bumpers, no airbags, etc. You might be able to get it for track use only, but I don't how you could drive this on the street.

    i have a friend who is on the waiting list a few months ago...maybe more for it. It's street legal if I recall. It's basically just a frame and an engine (plus suspension and some other stuff).

    I believe that since it's not a production car, it has different standards to meet. Kind of like the ones for kit cars and such.

    cool car, I think the street legal aspect is useless. not a very practical car, but a friggin blast on the track. that thing would be miserable to drive on the road. that car is only fun to drive when pushing the envelope. if it is street legal, you gettin tickets dude, lots of em :D

    It is street legal, and from what I have heard is not punishing on the bumps. The supercharged 300HP model goes for around $40K. Seems like a lot for a such a little car, but when you consider that it will outrun most Exotics it doesn't seem so bad.:D

    all of the 40k goes to performance only, no creature comforts, hey, I look at it like a 4 wheel motorcycle. 300 hp in that little thing? thats gotta be a screamer. how much less for the less powerful versions? I would think 300hp is almost overkill in that thing

    Yeah, that's been on my list for awhile... arguably the worlds best handling car under 150mph and you can have one for $40k. Oh and they are working on getting street legal in the US (emmisions should be easy since it's a tricked out civic engine and it they measured something like 21MPG driving it as hard as they could), but most people will probably use them for track racing, like the miada league.

    I saw that car on an episode of Top Gear and it looked like they were all having fun at the track. You should see the drivers face contort as he accelerates due to the g-forces. Looked like an absolute blast. The best of a motor car and motor cycle all in one. Seems to be the most practical at the track however.
