Computer analyzing software

What are some of the computer software systems that are out there to help me analyze my listening room?

I have been thinking of getting a Behringer Ultra Curve 2496 or 8024 with auto room calibration.

Any thoughts on this?

I've fiddled with Room EQ Wizard. It's more setup for trying to configure an eq but it's good for finding out the response you get in room. All you need is a computer, some cables and an spl meter.

Have you considered the Velodyne SMS-1 processor? Sounds like what you are looking for.

That is similar but the Behringer does the entire audible bandwidth.

Recording engineers use these in recording studios and at live concerts top get a flat frequency response.

It's a tesstimony to the affordability of digital gadgets. Cool link by the way.
For 400 dollars you get what used to be 8K+ 15 years ago and it takes up one rack space.

The name is quite a propo "RPM". . . Has quite a bit of horsepower too, although I don't see any RTA capability. I suppose that with that much control though you wouldn't require much visual representation of what was coming out the back. At 2400.oo for 10 channel I/O , studio grade mic preamps, and being drag and drop-able, it's worth that already without the 'new math' DSP's and fixed point chips.
