I am curious what the double sided tape Polk uses is... (a name?) - and aside from setting the tape on and setting the piece right... is there anything else required to use it...

I am contemplating using this to mount my side panels..

You could try the tape used to put golf grips on the shaft. you wet one side and boy is it stuck! I'm not sure how much weight it could hold though.

    You're welcome.

Yep, in a one off build like yours, glue is the most economical. In a production run setting, they can stick 'em and pack 'em with no worries about seepage.

Here's an up-close shot at the tape. I removed the panels on my Lsi15's because they faded. I actually haven't put the new ones on yet because I love'em naked :D

Be sure to get the black tape so it blends better.
