Has anyone played around with systems with Onstar installed? A friend of mine just got a truck that has it installed, and they said you can't use any after-market decks with it, since it uses that to communicate some parts (I'm not familiar with what exactly). This just seems odd to me that there isn't a deck that works with it. Thanks for any info.

    I used to install On-Star systems. They work with the OEM headunit's CD Changer port on the back of the radio. PAC makes an adapter for it, but I'm not clear on exactly what it does. You might want to call them first. After you click on the link, go to OEM products.PAC Accesories
