What sub to buy??

I need some help with buying a sub. Fry's has a Polk PSW250 on sale for $177. I have R40 front, R15 back and SC175i center. My room is small, but will i get enough from the sub, or should I wait and buy the PSW350?? My room is 12X12. I have a Technics reciver, that has the LFE out for DTS. I do a lot HT, but also listen to music too. Thanks for any help.

    I have the PSW350 sub in my HT room.. which is about the same size are yours. Mine is 12 x14. i find that the 350 is the smallest sub i'd buy for that room. Why not "overbuy" right now instead of "underbuying". i think you'll be happier that way. You may reach the limits of the PSW250. while you will still have room to push the PSW350 that much more if needed. That was my thinking when i bought my 350.
    the 350 isnt' that much more $$ than the 250.. and you get more bang for your buck too.

    Wow I guess I "overbought" by a ton......
    PSW650 In a 12x14 room......wont be living here much longer though.....Soon to have a dedicated HT room....

    anifibwarrior.. i think you're going to really love your new sub. like I said.. overbuy instead of unbuy when it comes to subs. you can always turn it up or down as your tastes change. enjoy.
