First thing, those wattage ratings are probably the peak ratings which are useless. THe RMS or continuous ratings are the only ones that matter.

Second thing, pic the sub you like best and sell the other 2. Its is never a good idea to mix different subs. Can cause some very strange issues with sound.

Probably wont need an alternator, maybe a new battery but the alternator should be fine.

One sub can be less effeceint than another so it wont be as loud with the same power which will screw up the sound quality.

One may move more air than the other and have more impact which will screw up the sound.

One may just sound worse than the other which will screw up the sound.

One may play lower than the other which will screw up the sound.

And on top of it all, it looks really trailer park'ish to have 3 different subs especially when theyre cheap-o subs.

But who knows, maybe everyone is wrong.

one dub? Wait, you have a 20 inch sub? Interesting...

if you half 2... wait, there's two halves to you? Do they seperate and go about their own daily life? That'd kick ****! Talk about getting some work done in a day. That's efficiency!

And I have heard of a sony Xplod sub, but never heard of dub or explore. Might help if you knew what you had as to what two you should pawn to finish your system. We're not about ghetto rigging systems here, we're about quality. "Do it once, do it right." That's how Car Audio should be done.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

The Sony is a decent sub but its not anywhere near a 800 watt sub. Pay absolutley no attention to the peak or max power ratings, they are worthless. That sub is likely a 400 watt RMS sub. In that case get something like this Pioneer amp which will power the Sony well.

Dump the Dub sub as well if for no other reason than the stupid name.

well, u could always get a nice polk sub instead of the sony.. lol i had to say it... :D
those dubs look like audioblah, built to look like a sub and a chrome wheel mated, but most likely inherited more traits from the wheel than the sub.

Actually I think Xplore is a flea market rip off brand of the Sony Xplod line.

Jesus Christ guys, just answer the f$@^ing question!. The guy comes on here asking for amp advice, and you start ripping into him about his subs.

I think MTX makes some of the best amps for the money you can get, but that's just based on my experience.

Oh get over yourselves. Nobody is "ripping" on anybody and ALL his questions were answered.

Somebody comes in here with flea market products and wants to run them improperly, we're going to correct them and thats exactly what happened and there is nothing wrong with it.

humm, you do have a point... of course, your version of 'correct' is rather more harsh than mine, but hey whatever :p

Dub magazine is now doing car audio? I hate the hip hop influence in today's society. BTW, it's just rebadged audiobling.
