I guess I will break this stuff up...

Here is a list of games. None have even been used. I did rip the celaphane off of them except for "Road Kill".

*Road Kill
*Nascar Thunder 2004
*Burnout 2 Point of impact
*Need for Speed Underground

*Playstation game soft case with PS logo on front

Each is $15 shipped or less if you buy more than one.



*The playstation 2 game with standard controllers. This is the later version which will output component video as well as composite. It also includes the optional 8mb memory card and cool looking base you sit it on. Has maybe an hours worth of time on it. $150




OK, here is the deal. Last year I got all caught up in this playstation 2 stuff. I bought about $1100 worth of stuff (and you know how I look around to find the absolute best deals!). This would have been about $1700 in stores like BB or CC including some games, remote control, Logitech wireless controllers (the really good ones), driving force pro steering wheel, some gun thing, case for the games, the actual PS2, component output cables, memory card, an add-on thing you sit the PS2 on, you name it, every freakin cool thing I could find.

I played two games and decided it was a waste of time. Seriously, about an hours worth of use total.

    I might if no one wants the whole mess but I don't want to waste a whole lot of effort on it. I'm still annoyed I wasted so much on it which could have been put towards a computer or more audio junk. I thought it would be cool but for some reason the whole thing just seemed like a time waster. I should have known better because PC games really annoy me... Live and learn.

    On the wireless controller: It looks like they are going for around $35 each plus shipping now. I remember paying more but today is today. I think I only bought one. For you? Actual shipping cost is fine. Lets say $10 shipped. :)

    The playstation can be purchased at any video game HQ for $120.00 refurbed so you will not get $150.00 for an open box, and I can get it for less around here in NY used.Lou

    Yes, but can you be assured it has less than an hour of use, does it come with a $30 memory card and does it have the cool looking base to sit it on? Oh, and this one has the component video output as well. Add all that to the $120 plus shipping and you already have at least $195 to $200 in it. $150 shipped is still a great deal! Thanks for the heads up though. :)

    Fine, but I am still cheaper than the refurbished. Don't you read? There are at least 70 people on this forum who have no need or want for this item. I don't see them posting that they don't need or want it.

    I fully support you buying the refurbished one. I personally wouldn't give $120 for it because some thoughtless tech has had his fingers in it but for you it should be fine.

    Got the Steering wheel in and in like new condition. Did you ever even hook it up???


    And, I would buy Chuck's used gear, of any type, and pay a small premium, before I bought from "Joe Blow" off EBay or the like, not knowing how the unit was used and abused and maintained. Chuck's gear will always be in top-notch/like new condition or he will state otherwise. No guess work involved and I'm sure that if there was an issue to arise, he would rectify the issue, asap.

    I also have an idea....

    If you don't like the way someone prices their gear on this FM, just mosey on along, it's none of your business anyways, so no need to post three or four times that you don't like his/her price. If the seller doesn't get any bites after a couple of days, the price almost always gets reduced. I'm not going to post in someone else's thread to tell them how to price their gear, unless they request ideas on what it is worth. Now if you're interested in the gear, then PM the seller with your offer and go about it that way instead of mucking up someone's thread.

    ^^ I agree about not posting it in the thread. I think that, if you notice someone is trying to sell something for a good bit more than it's going price for no appearant reason, you should PM the seller to tell him.

    NO, Lou you are missing the point.

    I too would buy from Max before Joe Blow, regardless though, Lou you made your point, Max responded (quite well) and that is that. Most selllers here do not mind being let know if they posted something to high because it has now been discounted etc. but once you let them know and they respond we pretty much end it, the banter is fine in the other forums but not in the FM.

    Thats a crock. Anyone reading the ad would have noticed some of the stuff was already given away for less than actual shipping costs by the time you replied. Truthfully, I put it up for sale here because I didn't want to deal with this sort of thing. Selling toys I guess you have to put up with children. I'll have to give ebay more serious consideration in the future.
