Has anyone try the combinaison of mains RTI70 and center CSI40?

Does the CSI40 do justice to the sound of the RTI70?

Thanks,

Stef

I haven't tried it: I've got the 800i/CS400i setup which is similar and they make a great match.

Since the CSi40 is the recommended matching center for the RTi70's I'm sure it would be a seemless match.

    Hi Jason,

RTI70 and CSI30 is also a recommended matching and I don't like it.... That's why I am looking for opinions of poeple who had play with this combo.

    Thanks,

    stef_000us,

I have the CS400i. When I was looking at centers it was between the 245 and the 400. I was originally going to get the 245, but once I heard the 400 there was no doubt. If you have not listened to the 30 and the 40 next to each other you should I think you will walk out with the 40 IMO. I have heard the new centers and the 40 is well worth the money.

I completely agree with going for the 40 over the 30. I just got the 400i to go with my 600is and 35is, and it sounds fantastic. I origionally had the 245i, but the 400i slaughters it. When you fire up the 40, you'll know where the extra money went. you get more speaker for your money with the big boy.

    Stef,

Not only tried it, but bought it.

I love the way the 40 sounds with the 70's, it is the best match made for those towers. Period. If it doesn't do them, justice, no center speaker will.
