Cliff,
I've never owned Parasound gear and only heard a rig driven with it (Parasound) once. So, I can't offer a comparison.
If specs help in a comparison, here goes:
Gain (voltage): 30 dB
Power Output: 100WPC/8 ohm load, 170WPC/4 ohm load
Freq. Response: 5 Hz to 100 kHz, min.
Signal-to-Noise (20-80 kHz, ref 85 W): 92 dB
Distortion:
1% THD at 100W, 1 kHz, 8 ohm load
0.7% THD at 10W, 1 kHz, 8 ohm load
0.3% THD at 1W, 1 kHz, 8 ohm load
Output Impedance: 0.9 ohms, typical
Max. Current Available: 25 amps, r.m.s, measured 1 kHz gated ON for 20 mS, OFF for 480 mS, into 0.1 ohms
Damping factor: 8.9 referenced to 8 ohms at 1 kHz
DC Offset: 30 mV, long and short term
Input Impedence: 100K ohms
Signal Polarity (Absolute Phase): Non-inverting -
Oh ok, can you say that in english now...

Nah specs i know notta about really... just wondered if ya knew the differences off hand.. between the 2
Thanks for the info thoughMY HT RIG:

One *bump*, then it goes in one of the HT rigs as serious overkill.
