Already have it and have seen it.

It okay. Some cool scenes, and good use of surrounds, but I was a little bored with it.

Marketing thinks we're too ignorant of the culture and wardrobe they had back than.

The hats are the coolest but they're always edited in American ads !?

It's actually grown on me with each viewing and compared with what Hollywood can crank out - Hofd is still heads and shoulders above the competition.

The dts-es track is excellant but the video could be better.

What could have been if it wasn't for Anita Mui's passing before film making.......

Just saw it on DVD with full DD 5.1 mix (don't ask me how). Suffice to say that the 'echo game' will likely be a surround sound reference scene for years to come. My cats freaked out in a very funny way...they would run away from one sound, only to quickly backtrack from another...they were zipping all over the room, it was like they were part of the scene! The Incredibles also sounds in-#$%^&-ccredible in DD EX. Again, I can't divulge into how I got to see the DVD's (not pirated crap copies), but there's quite a lot to look forward to in upcoming new releases.

So Incredibles is in DDEX? I wish it was DTS-ES but what Pixar movies are? I wish they'd jump on board.

    Out tomorrow...

If ya liked HERO than this is a must buy.

Tip- go in not expecting another HERO but as a companion peice to it. Should be more enjoyable that way. :)

Plus....I recently saw the English dubbed version of HERO and all I can say is that it was horrible ! Bad English accents, loss of emphasis on certain words, lost translation, just too distracting overall.

Go with the original dialogue on this one if you can....

The dvd should come out as reference material too.

Just watched it. Enjoyable flick. Ending got a little weird, but very tame compared to Hero. Good dubbing, too.

Watched it last night, excellent film. I found it better then Hero.
    Good dubbing, too
WTF? Moives like this you do not watched dubbed, period, what a way to ruin a film. As I see it, watching a movie dubbed is just as bad as watching it Pan-n-Sanned.

Cool. I know a couple of guys who thought the same way too ! Probably has to do with how the director went with a direct contrast to HERO.

Personally i don't think it was his best and it could have been better but some circumstances were out of his control.

Always like how the director takes you back to a different place and time. I also liked the old fashioned chilvary you don't see too often in movies and the costumes were fantastic.

Of course the fight scenes were awesome too !

I thought the movie was very well done, however, I guess we are left to infer what happened between the soilders and the House of Flying Daggers in the final showdown.

Overall I found it quite enjoyable, better than Hero, and the fight scenes while still stylish were more realistic than Crouching Tiger.

Very good film. I too found it to be a better movie than Hero, although the sound quality while pretty good, did not match that of Hero. Fight scenes were more realistic than Crouching Tiger, while maintaining an element of style. Thumbs Up!
