I wonder how many tens of millions of dollars in research in developing this copy proof technology were foiled by a $1.00 marker.

Oh well, they'll just pass it on to the consumer while they try unsucessfully to develop another.

I laugh in the face of Sony. Millions spent, defeated by a dollar. Life doesn't get much better.

"There are no longer visible rings," Wieflingseder says. "You don't know where to put the pen so you can destroy one, two, three tracks." Applying tape may unbalance a disc and cause serious damage to the CD drive, she adds.

    =

Please, oh please, don't thwart our high-tech anti-piracy technology with your 3 year old's magic marker.

    Ha! Too funny.

I read this a couple of days ago and am still laughing! Too bad the company that got SCREWED by its' own stupidity wasn't Microsoft. Now that is one company that I love to hate!! :)

    But, nevertheless, still hilarious! :D

I guess Wie (yeah her) did not think about people using dry erase markers. If your losing a track just wipe it clean and try again.;)
