What is a Sony STR-DA90ESG receiver worth?

He claims, "Very good cond."

I've had good luck with the Sony's "ES" line
I was thinking of buying it for my son.

    check Ebay or Audiogon for similar units. that will dictate the value of it. to some extent. condition, age, features, and how motivated the seller is. this all comes into play when buying used gear. great savings can be had buying used over new.

    ...and I did just that, but couldn't find any examples of that unit.
