Musical Fidelity A3cr dual mono preamp
- perfect condition
- Stereophile Class B (and won accolades from everyone else)
- original box, manual, remote
- retailed for $1,500, asking $750
- reason for selling: making a lateral shift in the MF line to a simliar item

This is a great-sounding preamp, complete with jewelry-like looks and tank-like construction (weights over 30 pounds!).

That's a very nice pre amp and priced right. Somebody take it home.

whats dual mono mean? does that mean instead of stereo it has a mono section for each channel to improve clarity?

Right, it means the right and left channels are completely separate circuits resulting in greater clarity and separtation. Some dual mono gear may share a common transformer and power cord, others are totally separate and even have two power cords.

Yes, a single removable IEC power cord--can be upgraded. the A3CR as dual independant torodial (sp?) transformers for each channel and totally seperate boards for each channel. Inputs for:

    CD
    SACD
    Tuner
    Aux
    Tape

I have A3CR and I adore it. This is a fantastic deal. Don't think about it--buy it.

This is the kind of stuff that people go to therapy for. Hmm, I wonder...is there a market for an audio therapist?

Probably. Maybe you could include a free therapy session with the purchase of any product. :D

Sorry, boys! This one's off the market. I'm keeping it! It sounds better than the unit I replaced it with which cost twice as much money.
