WTB large bookshelf speaker pair

Looking for RT55i, 35i, 38i, RTia3, RTi6 or similar bookshelf speakers. My garage speakers are in need of a major upgrade.

Located in Central IL (62549) but would entertain shipping if they can be packaged securely. I only need one pair.

    How's your local Facebook Marketplace? Check it daily for Polk and your likely to find something within driving distance. Shipping speakers, even bookshelf size can be difficult and expensive unless original packaging is kept.

    Patience, or expand your drive radius. Good speakers are worth a road trip. Also, expand your brand search. Mission made some great large bookshelf models with 8" woofers that are nice in a garage. I'm sure there are other brands that made nice large bookies.

    Well you were right. 4 speakers found a new home this morning. Two MINT RT55i’s and two CS400i’s were included. All for $250 so I don’t think that was too bad. Thanks for the advice. I don’t have FB so I had to steal the wife’s phone to search marketplace. Hard to do when she doesn’t want anymore speakers around haha.

    If you're interested in selling one of those CS400i center channel speakers, see my ad in the WTB forum. I might be willing to trade a nice pair of RT35i for it.

    Just a FYi, I had two new users with zero posts contact me about speakers in excellent condition. I got taken years ago with a CSiA6 so I’m very skeptical. Both joined in August of this year…

    Reported. Also looking for one or two more pairs of 25/35’s. My two daughters have also caught the bug. We listen to CD’s and stream music to my WiiM Pro a lot. These will be Christmas gifts for them.
