Class D, as far as I know, doesn't have common speaker grounds by their design.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.

No, blade/blade are 1b version as you know. If both blades carry signal, which I assume they do like all other B/b SDA's then it must be common ground. Unless you can tie the negatives together then you're stuck with one common ground amp. -
Trey, vr3, converted my blade blade to pin blade when he built my crossovers from scratch, got rid of the mw6009 and went with mw6510 and 6511 drivers.
I'm using 2 buckeye monoblocks along with treys custom a1 dreadnought, so common ground isn't an issue.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- Monitor Audio Silver rx2, , surround backNHTsuper1's surround, Parasound 1500, Marantz 2230/Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe -
Do your D amps run a little cooler with the Dreadnaught?Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.

I didn't think you could run a Dreadnought with a blade/blade style crossover. Whether original, or aftermarket-modified, I figured you had pin/blade style crossover.
I did an experiment with my 1B (blade/blade crossover) rewired/modified to run with non-common-ground amplifiers...but it sounded really strange. That experiment lasted about two minutes (maybe less) of playing time before I reconnected the stock blade/blade style wiring and regained normal (really good) sound. -
Trey did a completely new from scratch crossover. I changed the mid drivers, the interconnect cable he made as well. If I had kept the same blade blade configuration then I would not have been able to do the dreanought. But he didn't modify the crossover, it was completely new.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- Monitor Audio Silver rx2, , surround backNHTsuper1's surround, Parasound 1500, Marantz 2230/Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe

So running with both the old and new is preferable you think? I'll see when the new ones come in at some point. I decided not to use just one set of tweeters as the crossover is expecting all four and I don't want to accidentally damage anything by running just one pair. My old ones look fine, but are 40 years old.
That's what I did on my SDA 1Bs. Replaced the primary tweeters, kept the SL2000s for the secondary tweeters.I had two of the old dark SL2000s, plus two clear Silver Coil Domes that had come out of my CRS+.

@evhudsons ,Running with the old tweets won't hurt anything! except your ears. lol
. I want some sda srs 2's too. -
I had used chatgpt to look at Trey's work, and asked it's opinion, this is what it said, fwiw:
"One thing I noticed...
The craftsmanship is excellent.
I particularly like:
external SDA inductor boards
Neutrik SpeakON SDA connector (much better than the old blade/pin mechanically)
clean cable management
isolated inductors
quality board material
connectorized harnesses for serviceability
Frankly, this looks like something a boutique speaker company would sell for $15,000+."
